INA bearing mounting method
INA bearing mounting shall be carried out in a dry, dust-free area as far as possible, and shall be kept away from equipment that may produce metal debris and dust. When installation must be done in complex environments, contamination should be minimized. When installing bearings, mechanical, heating, or hydraulic methods should be selected according to the type and size.
Installation of cylindrical bore bearing
1. The cold installation
When installing small bearings that do not fit too tightly, the bearings can be mounted to the proper position by hammering the sleeve gently through a jacket. When striking, it should be applied to the bearing ring as evenly as possible to prevent the bearing from tilting or askew.
Most bearings are mounted by pressing. If the inner and outer rings of the bearing are to be mounted on the shaft and the bearing seat at the same time, it must be ensured that the inner and outer rings act at the same pressure and must be on the same plane as the contact surface of the mounting tool.
2. Heat installation
Generally, for larger bearings, it is not possible to install them without heating the bearings or bearings because of the more significant the size, the higher the force required to fix them. The temperature difference between the bearing ring and the shaft or housing required for hot mounting depends mainly on the interference amount and the diameter of the bearing joint. Open bearing heating temperature is not when heating the bearing, to uniform heating, must not have local overheating. It has to be above 120. It is not recommended to heat bearings with seals and dust caps above 80 ° c .
Installation of tapered bore bearings
1.Bearings with tapered holes, the inner ring is mostly fitted with an interference fit. The interference amount is determined by the axial thrust distance of the inner circle on the conical diameter, the fixed sleeve or the unloaded sleeve. The more extensive the propulsive range on the conical mating surface, the smaller the radial internal clearance of the bearing.
Small and medium bearings can be used with a bearing mounting tool or preferably with a lock nut to push the inner ring into place on the cone-diameter. In the case of a set sleeve, use a socket nut that can be locked with a hook wrench or an impact wrench. A bearing mounting tool or end plate can be used to push the sleeve into the bore of the bearing.
Larger bearings require greater force to install, so hydraulic nuts should be used. The hydraulic nut can install the cone hole bearing on the cone diameter, tighten the sleeve, and remove the jacket.
2. Oiling method
The working principle of the oil filling method is as follows: the hydraulic oil is injected into the mating surface between the bearing and the shaft diameter through the oil hole and the oil groove under high pressure to form an oil film. The oil film separates the mating surfaces so that the friction between the mating surfaces is significantly reduced. This method is usually used for mounting the bearing directly onto the cone-diameter. Necessary oil holes and grooves shall be part of the overall shaft design. This method can also be used to install the bearing on the clamping sleeve or the backing sleeve if the clamping sleeve and the backing sleeve have been machined with oil holes and oil grooves.
The standard error of bearing installation demonstration
1. The inner ring
(1) Too loose coordination between the shaft and bearing inner hole
Due to the choice of rod and internal hole fit is too loose, the shaft and internal hole surface sliding. Sliding friction will cause heat and damage the bearing due to weather.
(2) Friction between the end face of the inner ring and the shoulder produces cracks
When "going through the inner ring," the sliding friction between the inner circle and the shaft will generate high temperature. Since the contact surface between the end face of the inner circle and the shoulder of the cylinder is very small, the temperature will be higher. The end surface of the inner circle will produce a hot crack. The continuous extension of the hot crack will cause the inner circle of the bearing to break in use.
(3) Adhesion occurs between the shaft and the surface of the inner hole after heating
As a result of "go inside the ring" causes sliding friction between the inner hole and the surface of the shaft, the high temperature causes the surface metal to melt and produce adhesion.
2. The outer ring
(1) A too loose fit between shell aperture and bearing outer diameter
Because the match between the shell aperture and the bearing outer bore is too loose, the sliding occurs between their surfaces. Sliding friction will cause heat, causing the bearing to heat and damage.
