Where is FAG spherical roller bearing used in ?
FAG spherical roller bearings are designed to meet the requirements of heavy load occasions. They have two rows of symmetrically arranged spherical rollers, which can be freely adjusted in the spherical raceway inside the outer ring, so that the shaft deformation and the misalignment error of the bearing seat can be compensated. The number, length and diameter of the rollers in the FAG spherical roller bearings are the maximum values allowed by the mechanism. The close contact between the rollers and the raceway ensures uniform stress distribution and gives the bearings a high load capacity.
Basic types of FAG spherical roller bearings
Most FAG spherical roller bearings with an outer diameter of less than 320 mm are structurally enhanced E series bearings. Unlike other bearings, these bearings do not have a center rib on the inner ring, so their rollers are longer. In this way, the rated load of the E series FAG spherical roller bearings is significantly larger than that of other ordinary spherical roller bearings. FAG spherical roller bearings have cylindrical or conical bores. The spherical roller bearings with conical bores are mounted on the shaft through a tightening sleeve or a leg unloading sleeve.
FAG spherical roller bearing alignment
Under normal working conditions, the spherical roller bearing with rotating inner ring can compensate for the centering error of up to 0.5° by swinging around the center position. If the load is small, the swing angle can reach 2° under structural conditions. When the outer ring rotates or the inner ring swings, the automatic centering ability must be reduced.
FAG spherical roller bearing bearing clearance
The basic type of FAG spherical roller bearing adopts the normal group clearance. In order to adapt to different working environments and installation requirements, FAG also provides large clearance spherical roller bearings. The suffix C3 indicates a clearance group greater than the normal level. The suffix C4 indicates that the radial clearance is greater than C3.FAG spherical roller bearing lubrication groove, lubrication hole for easy lubrication, FAG spherical roller bearings (except 213 series) have a lubrication groove and three lubrication holes on the circumferential direction of the outer ring. Such bearings with an outer diameter less than 320mm are indicated by the suffix S. The same size bearings of the 222E series and 223E series are not subject to this restriction. FAG spherical roller bearing cages 222E and 223E series FAG spherical roller bearings without cage suffixes use stamped steel cages, with the two cages separated by a guide ring inside the outer ring. All cage surface treatments are applicable to the basic design 223E series and bearings designed according to specification T41A. Other E series bearings use glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 cages (suffix TVPB) or machined brass solid cages (suffix M). Spherical roller bearings with integral center ribs on the inner ring have machined brass solid cages or stamped brass cages. Bearings with stamped steel cages do not have a cage suffix. Cages with the suffix MB are inner ring guided. Brass solid cages (MA) with outer ring guidance are mainly used for special spherical roller bearings (outer diameter > 320mm) that meet T41A requirements. The operating temperature of bearings with metal cages can reach 200℃. The allowable continuous operating temperature of the glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 cage is 120°C. If the bearing is lubricated with oil, the additives in the lubricating oil will reduce the service life of the cage. In addition, aging oil will also have an adverse effect on the life of the cage at high temperatures, so the oil change cycle must be paid attention to.
